An Owensboro teenager is accused of trying to make a getaway from police in a stolen SUV.
Investigators believe 18-year-old Terrance Meyer took the vehicle from Village Run at about 1:30 this morning.
When police tried to pull him over, he took off the wrong way on Triplett Street.
He later crashed into a pole on West 5th Street and ran from the scene on foot.
Meyer is facing several charges including possession of a defaced gun and drunk driving.
