The Alcoa Foundation has awarded a $30,000 grant to the YWCA for their Live Y’ers program.
It’s an after-school program that aids kids in STEM education, career exploration, and other social skills.
The YWCA provides mentors for each of the children to help with their development.
The grant will help with staff and supplies for the program.
