It’s been three weeks since the shooting at Apalachee High School in Georgia.
In that time more than 700 teens and children nationally have been arrested for making violent threats against schools.
A few of those are in the Tri-State.
Now, with the help of a state grant, East Gibson School Corporation is taking steps to improve school safety.
The 81-thousand dollar grant will increase security systems such as barriers between the buildings and possible intruders.
