A Webster County man charged with the murder of his girlfriend gets only 16 years in prison.
49-year-old William Virgin told dispatchers he strangled his girlfriend to death back in August of 2022.
Authorities found the body of 31-year-old Heather Davidson when they arrived.
Virgin pleaded guilty to 1st Degree Manslaughter for a lesser sentence.
