Evansville police respond to a shots fired call Sunday afternoon.
The call came in just before 5:00 pm in the 800 block of Jefferson Avenue.
A police spokesman says someone inside the house fired a gun at a cabinet to deter another person from trying to get into the house.
There were no reports of injuries, and no arrests have been made.
