A Mount Vernon arson investigation leads to the arrest of 47-year-old Quinyatte Harrell.
Police say a home was set on fire Tuesday and Harrell was named as a suspect.
He was found at the Mount Vernon riverfront.
Police claim he eventually confessed to setting the fire on purpose with the intent of destroying the home.
Nobody else was there at the time.
Harrell is charged with arson and criminal recklessness.
