An Evansville woman is facing seven counts of neglect following her arrest on Monday afternoon.
First responders were called to a home in the 6400 block of Upper Mt. Vernon Avenue for a man having a medical emergency.
When deputies arrived they noticed the house was covered in trash and animal feces.
No running water was in the home, and mold was growing in the fridge.
Two dead animals were found in the kitchen.
A child who appeared underweight and several other animals were inside the home.
She is in the Vanderburgh County Jail without bond.
