First responders labored over the weekend to remove a car from the Pond River in Muhlenberg County.
A person reported finding the car partially submerged near the Muhlenberg/Hopkins county line.
Greenville fire crews put boats in the water to wait for towing companies to come and pull the car out.
There’s no word on how the car got into the river.
