A convicted child molester received the maximum sentence of 50 years in prison on Wednesday.
Last month Oscar Rax was found guilty of two counts of child molesting.
His victim was 8 years old at the time of the abuse.
She told investigators that Rax abused her multiple times and used tape to keep her from screaming.
Throughout the investigation, Rax made comments about fleeing back to Guatemala.
