The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 17-year-old after a short pursuit.
On Thursday deputies spotted a speeding vehicle on northbound 41 near Waterworks Road and attempted to pull them over.
The driver fled.
The pursuit ended three minutes later in Akin Park where the suspect ran away on foot.
A K-9 began tracking the suspect and a drone was also used.
A short time later a vehicle was stopped and the suspect was found in the backseat.
Deputies located a large amount of currency, drugs, and a digital scale on the suspect.
