A man has been found guilty of child molestation in Evansville.
A jury decided Oscar Rax was guilty of two counts.
During a forensic interview at Holly’s House, the 8-year-old said that Rax sexually abused her often and used tape to keep her from screaming.
Throughout the investigation, Rax made comments about fleeing back to Guatemala.
His sentencing is on August 14.
Another man, 32-year-old Jose Cac Tiul is charged with molesting the same child.
He is in the Vanderburgh County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
