Spencer County’s Visitors Bureau is trying to put the county on the map for something other than Santa Claus.
The county welcomes sports tournaments that come in to use the county’s soccer fields, baseball diamonds, and basketball courts.
There presently is no sports complex.
That sends some teams and events elsewhere.
A new study seeks to determine if Spencer County can support a sports complex.
