After a lengthy closure for storm damage repair, the Evansville Wartime Museum will re-open on Saturday, August 3.
There have been temporary repairs to the roof and hangar door, all caused by a macroburst on April 2.
Additional repairs may cause the museum to close again on weekdays for a couple of months.
On August 10th and 11th, you can see and ride in a 1970 Viet Nam era Huey U-H-1 helicopter.
