Illinois State Police are investigating the death of a 1-year-old child and serious injury to a 2-year-old.
36-year-old Adreian D.A. Hooper of Fairfield is accused of leaving the boys in a vehicle for several hours.
She is facing several charges including endangering the life of a child and causing death.
Hooper is being held at the Wayne County Jail.
