Construction begins next week for a new fire station in Chandler.
The facility will include individual bays for each apparatus, appropriate shower facilities, and other safety measures the current station doesn’t have.
Chief Alex Kerr says the new station will help them respond faster to emergencies.
The fire station will be finished by next summer.
