Wayne County Illinois authorities report having to euthanize a big snake.
Several weeks ago, deputies went to a Sims home where three pythons were reported abandoned.
Reptile handlers quickly captured two.
Deputies found the third snake, an 11-foot python, in a ditch near railroad tracks on Thursday.
The snake had been partially run over by a train and the decision was made to euthanize it.
