CenterPoint Energy customers in southwestern Indiana will transition to a new billing system beginning July 2.
Online account management and the automated phone system will be unavailable from June 27 to July 1.
To avoid processing delays, customers are encouraged to schedule or complete bill payments by June 26.
Customers will receive a new account number that will be in the upper right corner of the bill.
The update will simplify program enrollments and offer more self-service options.
