The Warrick County Board of Health votes to suspend their officer.
Marlin Weisheit, the department’s interim director, supplied no reason for the suspension of Doctor Ricky Yeager.
The health department operates under Dr. Yeager’s medical license.
As a consequence, no birth or death certificates can be issued, nor can vaccines be ordered or administered.
A public hearing is set for Tuesday afternoon when Dr. Yeager can discuss his suspension with the board.
