Sunday night deputies responded to the area of St Joe and Diamond Avenue to check the welfare of a woman.
She told police that Erron Radcliff had just taken the keys to her car.
He refused to put his hands behind his back and began fighting with deputies.
A taser was utilized to gain compliance.
During the struggle, Radcliff grabbed the stun gun and attempted to conceal it under his body.
One of the responding deputies sustained lacerations to his hand during the altercation.
Radcliff is charged with domestic battery and disarming law enforcement.
