An Evansville man is facing several charges after causing three hit-and-run crashes and threatening a homeowner.
Friday afternoon 23-year-old Demetrius Glover was traveling at a high rate of speed along north Highway 57, North Green Road, and Millersburg Road.
A construction worker was narrowly missed by Glover’s vehicle.
There was a short chase between the suspect and the Sheriff until he lost sight of him.
An EMA employee, who witnessed the chase, directed the sheriff behind a church on Mill Road.
The vehicle was unoccupied but then noticed Glover carrying a handgun while walking between two homes on Pemberton Avenue.
While Glover was on the run he threatened to kill a resident, who then called the police.
He was taken into custody and booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
