Earlier this week Oakland City officers responded to the 300 block of West Dale Street for a disturbance.
Once on scene officers spoke with witnesses to determine the nature of the commotion.
When officers attempted to speak with 37-year-old James Comenzind he became aggressive and would not respond to their requests.
Comenzind was transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with disorderly conduct, battery on an officer, and resisting law enforcement.
