Illinois State Police responded to a fatal crash on County Road 70 North in Wayne County.
An investigation determined a Polaris side-by-side was traveling westbound ran off the roadway and rolled over.
The front-seat passenger was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
35-year-old Johnny Green of McLeansboro was identified as the driver.
He is being held in the Wayne County Jail charged with aggravated DUI and reckless homicide.
