SWIRA & More will break ground on its new 16,000-square-foot building Friday morning.
The Sol and Arlene Bronstein Foundation Center will be built next to SWIRA’s current building in the Jacobsville neighborhood.
The new facility will house critical services such as a technology lab, a training center, an expanded food pantry, and a rehabilitation center.
Sol and Arlene Bronstein moved to Evansville in the 1930s and are known for their many business ventures.
The most memorable was the Red Bird gas stations.
