Around 3:00 Wednesday morning a resident of Stoneberger Camp near Griffin called 9-1-1 reporting a suspicious person at her home.
The caller stated the male told her that he crashed his vehicle and needed help.
A Posey County Deputy located the vehicle in a large ditch.
After a roadside investigation, there was probable cause to believe that 23-year-old Dalton Farrar of Mt. Carmel, Illinois was intoxicated.
He was taken to the Gibson County Jail and is facing several charges including leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
