A home in Somerville is under investigation after several cats were discovered in bad shape.
Gibson County Sheriff Bruce Vanoven says some of the cats are dead and one has no eyes.
Animal Control officers removed the cats that were still alive.
Charges are likely and are being left to the prosecutor to decide which ones to file.
