On Friday a southern Illinois man was sentenced to 50 years for the death of his half brother 51-year-old Joseph Geyman.
71-year-old Larry Cavitt received 25 years for First Degree Murder and another 25 years due to the statutory firearm enhancement.
Cavitt killed Geyman in August of 2021 during an argument over a COVID-19 vaccine.
