An Evansville mother charged with neglect of a dependent reached a plea deal.
On Thursday Loreena Nance was sentenced to two years but was given credit for time served.
She will spend the rest of the time on probation.
Six month old, Kayson Hedrick, was found dead in the family’s home in January.
The baby’s father, Shane Hedrick, is facing several charges including murder.
His trial is scheduled for September 23.
