Green River Road was shut down for about an hour Thursday morning for a hostile situation.
The truck’s owner, Adrian Kasnick says he was mowing at Midas when he spotted the suspect, later identified as Shawn Grigsby hop behind the wheel.
Grigsby started it up and tried to flee.
That’s when he ran into a pole and got stuck.
Kasnick held Grisby at gunpoint until police arrived.
When Grigsby tried to take off on foot EPD K9 Orkan tackled him to the ground.
In 2014, he was sentenced to 20 years for conspiracy to commit murder.
He was released last October and is on parole.
