Today was supposed to be the season’s first Friday After 5 in Owensboro.
It’s been canceled.
Board secretary Belinda Abell says the cancellation is because of today’s forecast weather.
Moving the event indoors is not an option.
Abell says the event will add an extra date to make up for losing today’s event.
Thanks to that ruling, the final Friday After 5 will now be August 9th.
