Henderson’s famous Skateway roller rink closed its doors for the last time Saturday night.
The owners decided to open up Friday and Saturday night for one final skate weekend before locking up the doors forever.
Owner Dave Dixon has been connected with the roller rink since he was 12 years old.
That’s when his father built it.
Dixon says many of the kids have come to him saying how sad they were that Skateway is going away.
