Vanderburgh County Will Use Grant To Improve Roads

Vanderburgh County has been awarded a Community Crossings Grant.

The funds totaling around 1.1 million dollars will go towards road improvements.

Those roads are St. Joseph, Orchard, Upper Mt. Vernon, Old State, and Petersburg.

Commission President Cheryl Musgrave extended appreciation to the State for the much-needed funds.

Administered by INDOT the Community Crossings Matching Grant Program provides funding to cities, towns, and counties across Indiana.
