Evansville Fire Department crews were called to the 700 block of East Virginia Street at about 3:30 this morning.
Arriving units noted a fire coming from the back of a house.
It took the crews several minutes to darken down the flames.
It wasn’t clear if anyone was inside the house when the fire broke out, but so far no injuries have been reported.
