The first confirmed case of Chronic Wasting Disease, also known as the Zombie Deer Disease, has been discovered in northern Indiana.
As we reported on Friday, a hunter notified the Department of Natural Resources of the case in LaGrange County.
The neurological disease affects white-tail deer and is fatal.
Cases of the disease have been confirmed in all states bordering Indiana.
There are no reports of humans being affected by CWD.
