CenterPoint Energy reports more than 500 of its electric customers are still without power.
They have been in direct communication with the National Weather Service in Paducah as they continue their investigation into the damages from Tuesday’s storms.
Normally, the NWS can complete damage surveys in a single day.
It’s taking much longer because of the enormous amount of widespread damage.
This is causing new challenges while making repairs.
CenterPoint Energy officials say they are committed to working around the clock until the last customer is restored.
