An Evansville man was arrested over the weekend for allegedly stabbing a man with a screwdriver.
When police arrived on the scene on W. Delaware Street they spoke to two witnesses.
They had been in the apartment with two men known as “Rips” and “Bloodbath”, later identified as Kendric Bradshaw and Rashawn Cartwright.
Witnesses say the fight started in a vacant lot where Bradshaw was stabbed in the abdomen.
Cartwright chased Bradshaw for half a block before going back to the apartment where his aunt lived.
Officers found him hiding in a closet and placed him under arrest.
