The Evansville City Council is being asked to adopt a resolution calling for a cease-fire in Gaza.
Supporters want Evansville to join nearly 70 other cities that have adopted similar resolutions.
They say it’s part of a movement to show support for those suffering in the conflict.
Council members haven’t commented on the proposal.
