One person was taken to the hospital after the plane he was flying crashed Friday just before midnight in Union County, Kentucky.
Emergency crews searched the area but were unable to find much.
The search for the pilot continued Saturday morning once the sun came out.
Crews spotted a lot of debris in a tree and found the plane less than a quarter mile away from the road.
The pilot was talking and coherent when first responders found him.
The pilot was the only person on the plane.
