A former captain of LST 325 has died.
Robert Jornlin was 84 years old.
He commanded the LST in her odyssey from Greece to Mobile Alabama in 2001, and then to her Homeport in Evansville in 2005.
Jornlin was a U-S Navy veteran serving from 1961 to 1965 on two LSTs.
Visitation and funeral services will take place on Wednesday and Thursday in Earlville Illinois.
