Officers arrested two people for allegedly stealing scrap metal from the Morton Avenue Warehouse site Monday afternoon.
39-year-old Sarah Parlsey was pulled over on John Street with the scrap metal hanging out of the trunk.
40-year-old Damareo Thruston was her passenger.
Parlsey and Thruston both admitted to stealing the materials.
They are both in the Vanderburgh County Jail without bond.
The Morton Avenue Warehouse has been in ruins since it caught fire in October of 2022.
