Stolen Checks Lead To The Arrests Of Three People

Three people have been arrested for allegedly cashing fraudulent checks around Evansville.

The owners of Gattitown reported in October that dozens of company checks had been stolen.

Credit union accounting verified that 45 checks had been passed by 20 different suspects.

The total loss amounts to nearly $522,000.

The suspects arrested are David Santiago, Paige Leach, and Demontez Grant.
