The dry and windy conditions could be fuel for more brush fires.

Fire officials in Boonville are asking the public to not burn outdoors until the area gets a substantial amount of rain.
Small burns such as campfires can catch and spread fast.
Boonville Fire Chief Steven Byers estimates over 90 percent of the fires they’ve responded to over the past week were started by people burning things.
