A man believed to be involved in a double murder case is requesting to have his charges dropped.
Richard Garrett allegedly drove the getaway car for two other people charged with the murders of Michael Blankenship and Mitchell Greathouse.
Garret told police he thought it was a robbery and not a murder.
Blankenship and Greathouse were murdered last October inside a home on Mt. Vernon Avenue in Evansville.
Garrett’s trial is scheduled for April 15.
