Knight Township is stepping up to help many whose utility bills sent them into shock.
Bills have nearly doubled or tripled for some local families.
The Knights Township Trustee says the number of people needing assistance has doubled.
The Trustee’s office is assisting with electric bills in a flexible manner that allows them to help with requirements not based on income.
