Two people have filed to run for Vanderburgh County Commissioner in District Three.
In the Democratic party is Evansville native Michael Lockard.
For the last 35 years, he has been active in helping to shape the future of Evansville and surrounding communities.
Lockard says he is committed to working tirelessly to address the needs and concerns of the residents of Vanderburgh County.
Running in the Republican Party is Amy Canterbury.
She has led a successful career as a leader in the banking industry and has served as the CEO of United Way of Southwestern Indiana since 2016.
