A Spencer County Trooper attempted to stop a vehicle with a nonfunctioning taillight Tuesday morning.
The vehicle was eventually located at a rest stop.
Troopers spoke to the driver 37-year-old John Mooney and the passenger 33-year-old Rita Delong both from Louisville.
After a probable cause search, troopers located approximately one pound of meth, heroin, a stolen firearm, and a syringe.
Mooney also showed signs of impairment.
He also had a warrant out of Vanderburgh County.
Mooney and Delong are both being held without bond.
