In November the Metropolitan Evansville Transit System announced the launch of its METS micro app.
Since then, 40 riders have taken advantage of the $2 van rides each day.
Since the launch, METS Micro has over 276 active account users.
Executive Director of Transportation, Todd Robertson says the rideshare service has completed 1,700 trips, and ridership keeps climbing as more people learn about the service.
The app is available in Google Play and the App Store.
