USI rehearsed its performance of opera Thursday night.
They’re working in conjunction with Pegasus Opera Company, which is helping with student voices.
The opera is based on the biblical story of Ruth.
Artistic director Alison Buchannan, who sings the part of Ruth, says it’s been a great experience working on student voices and finding out what they’re capable of.
The opera performances are scheduled for January 26th and 27th.
