An Evansville man convicted on two counts of attempted murder, is now in the Vanderburgh County Jail.
Kody Schaum drew a gun when faced with several E-P-D officers who were trying to serve warrants and arrest him.
He was shot and paralyzed by police during that confrontation.
After the jury announced its guilty verdict, Schaum was seen swallowing about a dozen pills which sent him to the hospital for several days.
He’s now awaiting sentencing on Thursday in the Vanderburgh County jail.
