The University of Evansville baseball player charged with rape made his first court appearance Thursday.
20-year-old Willard Peterson pleaded not guilty.
Police say he raped a girl at his university apartment in November after a party with the baseball team.
Peterson’s bond was reduced from $15,000 to $7,500 cash.
He’s been ordered not to have any contact with the victim.
