A University of Evansville baseball player is accused of raping a girl at his campus apartment.
The victim told police that she and a friend went to a party at the “baseball house” last November.
Toward the end of the party, 20-year-old Willard Peterson offered to drive her home.
They walked to his apartment to get his keys.
The female says her head was spinning from being intoxicated, so she lay on the bed.
Peterson then laid down and started touching her all over which led to the alleged rape.
Police say Peterson admitted to sexual contact, but claims the girl instigated things.
He was arrested and charged with two counts of rape and one count of sexual battery.
